Group outside La Biela cafe, accross from Recoleta Cemetery.

Tango lessons!!!!

Early morning tour in front of the cathedral.

First few steps with tango instructor.

So far, Buenos Aires has been awesome! Aside from dangerous experiences crossing the street, this trip has been amazing. The tango lessons and walking in and out of thousands of stores have been some of the highlights. We are all enjoying BA, but we can't wait till we get to Rafaela. Love, Brooks

I went shopping and bought a pretty good amount of stuff. It could probably be called a shopping spree I guess. Love, Matt

Last night we took tango lessons, we saw an amazing tango and other traditional Argentinian dance show, ate steak (of course,) and this morning we were up bright and early for a guided tour of the city! Enjoy the photos.
Later tonight we'll be eating pizza in one of the best brick oven pizzerias in BA. We can't wait :-)

(Breakfast at the historic Cafe Tortoni- click the link for more info.)

(Atlanta Airport, Caroline's dad took this photo)

Well, we took off yesterday, and all went well! We landed this morning, checked in the hotel, went out for breakfast at Cafe Tortoni, saw Avenida 9 de Julio, the widest avenue in the world, the Obelisc, Avenida de Mayo, Calle Corrientes, the statue of Don Quijote, and shopped at Calle Florida and Galerias Pacifico. Some shopped more than others, and it was not the girls who shopped the most :-) We had lunch at the cloister of a church/monastery.
Now everybody is taking naps in preparations for tonights tango show, lesson, and dinner. I will make sure they write journal entries in the days to come.
Best, Agnes

Check out this site to see what Argentinian pesos look like. We are going to be using this money, and we do not want to get confused. Look at all coins and bills here: Currency in Argentina. Don

Don wants to share this music video with you.
